RATER
Using
Bris DRF + TrackMaster Single File Format
Download
from the Bris Website the Track Entries and PPs in the DRF Single File Format and
load them into the Educated Guess Thoroughbred Horse Rater Program. That's all
you have to do to Handicap the whole race card. Use our ratings or Spot Plays
to create your own instant Tip Sheet or if you're a "Purest" use it
with the Past Performances to enhance your own Handicapping.
HORSE
RATER
This
is a complete rating program combining Distance, Class, Earnings, Consistency,
Pace, Speed, and Track Condition. The highest rating is the best. Look at the
three highest rated horses in each race.
Also
included in the Horse Rater program are the following Spot Plays: 1) Position
Factor (PosFac) based on the horse’s positions and lengths in it’s last race,
the track surface, finish position and class. 2) Claimer Improvement Factor
(SCImp) based on the comparisons of positions and lengths at each race fraction
for the horse’s last three races, days raced, workouts, track surface, distance
and class. 3) Length Factor (Len) based on a comparison of lengths in the
horses last three races, days raced, and class.
JOCKEY
PLUS FACTOR
This
rating program analyses Distance, ITM (In The Money) Finishes, Wins, Speed,
plus Jockey Factors (wins on the horse, ITM percentages) to arrive at a rating.
The lowest rating is the best. Look at the three highest rated horses (actually
the ones with the lowest rating figure) in each race. This program can be very useful as a Plus Factor with the other Rating
Programs or as a tie breaker with close contenders.
PACE
CALCULATOR
This
Program rates the horses as per their Pace. Pace is a factor of speed and
indicates how a horse runs a race. The
fastest horse necessarily does not win the race; pace may make the difference.
The program is very effective for races of 1 mile or longer, but has also shown
good results for sprints .The result will be a Pace Rating for every horse in every race on the Race Card. The
highest rating is the best.
FILING AND
PRINTOUT PROVISIONS
Hard copies of
the data produced by the programs can be printed out or saved in files for
latter viewing.
