Hospitality (Ministry of
Fellowship)
The aim of this committee (chairmanship is appointed by the Session) is to
enhance the worship and praise of our Lord in his church in a manner that is Biblically consistent,
and to promote the communion of the saints through fellowship activities.
Regarding the worship
of God, it seeks to stir a spirit of adoration and holiness by enhancing the seasonal and special
service themes approved by the Session.
It will care for the
decoration of the sanctuary and arrangement for flowers. It may work with the music director and the
Session regarding special events.
Regarding the promotion
of fellowship, it will work with the entire membership to help in arranging seasonal celebrations,
church suppers and church retreats.
Ladies' and Men's
Fellowship may work with the committee in coordinating their joint activities.
Working with the Session
or Deacons, it may also help coordinate preparing of meals and other acts of mercy to
those in the congregation who are suffering or shut-in.
