Gregson Bio

Rev. Timothy H. Gregson

Ordained in May 1973 as pastor of Berea Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Dayton, Virginia, he served that church for thirty years.

He was installed as pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church, OPC in Amsterdam, New York on June 28, 2002.

Mr. Gregson received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University in 1972, and from the Reformed Episcopal Seminary, he received a Bachelor of Divinity in 1968 and Master of Divinity in 1973. He served as supply pastor for PCUSA at Snow Shoe, PA while at college.

For the Mid-Atlantic Presbytery, he served as moderator for five years and clerk for one year. He was a member and convener of Committee on Candidates and Credentials from 1984 until moving to Amsterdam. He served on a special committee for Journey Magazine inquiry and was the chairman for the Retreat Operating Committee for Machen Retreat & Conference Center from 1998 until moving to Amsterdam.

	Chaplain at Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Harrisburg, VA, 1982-1985.
	Vice President of Harrisonburg Crisis Pregnancy Center, Harrisonburg, VA, 1988-1990.
	Vice President or organizing board of Blue Ridge Christian School and Vice President of the Board of Directors, 1990-1997. Chairman of its Pastoral Advisory Commission, 1990 to 2001.
	Chairman of the Organizing Board of Providence Christian High School, 2001 to 2002.
	Temporary Missionary / Teacher for Missionary Training Institute (MTI) in Seoul, Korea, 1992.
	Temporary Missionary for Foreign Missions Committee at Ghinda, Eritrea, 1998.
